Effective Date: November 2025
By accessing or using the STX Orbital platform, including the STX Sentinel screening engine and STX Watchtower monitoring services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. This platform is intended for use by satellite operators, spacecraft mission teams, government entities, and authorized personnel for conjunction assessment and flight dynamics analysis.
STX Sentinel: An autonomous conjunction screening engine that processes operator-supplied TLEs or CCSDS CDMs against a curated orbital catalog to generate risk classifications and maneuver guidance.
STX Watchtower: A persistent monitoring service that executes scheduled scans, delivers automated alerts, and maintains event archives for configured spacecraft assets.
STX Orbital provides conjunction assessment estimates based on publicly available orbital data from the 18th Space Defense Squadron and operator-supplied ephemeris. Orbital propagation inherently contains uncertainty due to atmospheric drag, solar activity, maneuver ambiguity, and catalog latency.
STX Orbital Inc. is not liable for any operational decisions, collision events, mission failures, spacecraft damage, or financial losses resulting from the use of or reliance on data, reports, or recommendations generated by this platform.
All maneuver decisions, collision avoidance actions, and operational responses remain the sole responsibility of the spacecraft operator.
Risk classifications (RED, YELLOW, GREEN), probability of collision estimates, and maneuver recommendations are computational outputs based on available data at the time of processing. These outputs are provided for decision support and do not constitute operational guarantees.
Operators are responsible for validating assessments against authoritative sources and applying appropriate operational judgment.
This platform utilizes orbital catalog data from the United States Space Force (USSF) 18th Space Defense Squadron via Space-Track.org.
Users agree to comply with all applicable Space-Track user agreements, U.S. export control regulations (ITAR/EAR), and any restrictions on redistribution or commercial use of government-furnished data.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity conducted under your account.
Unauthorized access attempts, credential sharing, or use of the platform for purposes other than legitimate conjunction assessment must be reported to STX Orbital immediately.
STX Orbital strives to maintain continuous platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure updates, or external factors may result in temporary service interruptions. Critical conjunction monitoring should not rely solely on any single data source or service provider.
STX Orbital reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service. Continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah and applicable federal law of the United States.
